Simple Solutions for Change (SSFC), in collaboration with 3Zero House Myanmar and a network of committed partners, proudly hosted the “From Awareness to Action – World Environment Day 2025” event on June 5, 2025, at Goethe-Institut Myanmar. The event aligned with the global #BeatPlasticPollution movement, encouraging behavior change and local action to tackle plastic waste.
With over 140 participants including youth, professionals, advocates, and sustainability enthusiasts, the event became a vibrant space for inspiration, collaboration, and meaningful conversations around environmental action.

Opening & Campaign Relaunch
The event began with welcome remarks from Ko Bhone Myat Kyaw, representing 3Zero House Myanmar, followed by the official relaunch of SSFC’s campaign – “လျော့လည်းသုံးပါ၊ ခွဲလည်းပစ်ပါ” (Use Less, Sort More). The campaign encourages everyday sustainable actions in households and communities.

Following this impactful event, we officially launched the #FromAwarenessToAction Challenge, a social media campaign that invites the public to take small, meaningful steps toward sustainability and share their journey online.
Through thoughtful storytelling, interactive education, and collaborative engagement, the World Environment Day 2025 celebration became a milestone in Myanmar’s ongoing journey toward a cleaner, greener future.
