Voices for a Sustainable Future is an ongoing podcast series that spotlights voices from across Myanmar and the region — youth, community leaders, social entrepreneurs, and sustainability experts — who are turning ideas into action.

Concept & Vision

As our world faces urgent issues like the climate crisis, rising inequality, and economic fragility, the concept of sustainability has become more crucial than ever. Yet, for many in Myanmar and across the region, connecting large global goals like the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) to day-to-day realities remains a challenge.

Each month, we explore how sustainability connects to real-life experiences, local challenges, and community-led solutions in areas like waste management, climate resilience, and social equity. Our goal is to bring sustainability closer to the people — making it relatable, practical, and deeply rooted in lived experience.

Objectives

  • To raise awareness on sustainability and its relevance in daily life.

  • To spotlight local and regional solutions in climate action, waste management, and social inclusion.

  • To build an accessible learning platform where experience and knowledge are shared in an engaging and relatable format.
